Viver em Marrocos/Living in Morocco

Ola Unicats bem-vindas a mais uma aventura aqui no blog e como podem ver hoje trago-vos um post que muita gente já me tinha pedido e que outras simplesmente me procuram com duvidas,porque tem um bocado de receio de  viajar/morar para um pais com uma religião e uma cultura tao diferente da nossa mas será que é tao diferente vamos ver !?

A vida em geral aqui não é muito cara nem muito difícil, tem que se saber onde comprar.

Nos supermercados em geral os preços são muito idênticos aos de Portugal e do resto da europa, exceção feita as frutas e legumes são mais baratos e bem mais frescos.

Um dos locais onde podemos encontrar produtos mais baratos são nos Souks, são mercadinhos diários onde podemos encontrar um bocadinho de tudo,(vestuário, carne, legumes) e onde é possível negociar um pouco os preços (coisa que os marroquinos acham graça).

As lojas de Vestuário de marcas conhecidas são geralmente  mais caras do que estamos habituados, mas as lojas de vestuário (tradicional marroquino ) têm preços muito acessíveis.

Encontrar uma casa para viver não e tarefa fácil, primeiro porque não existe muita informação. Existem casas para todas as carteiras mas com as suas limitações, o mais provável ao procurar uma casa será encontrar uma ao estilo de cá (com uma ou duas salas marroquinas), mas também existem casas com estilo mais europeu, sendo essas um pouco mais caras mensalmente (isto é em termos de aluguer, pois compra não faço ideia pois nunca comprei cá casa ).

Trabalhar em Marrocos não é difícil o problema e encontrar trabalho aqui, primeiro porque não existe uma grande bolsa de emprego e depois de forma geral os salários aqui são relativamente baixos, mais aconselhável será vir com trabalho de Portugal ou de outro pais para aqui, outra dificuldade prende-se com a língua, apesar de os marroquinos falarem Francês e ate mesmo Inglês o árabe e muito importante sendo que ainda existe muitas pessoas que só falam árabe (só por curiosidade em Marrocos não se fala verdadeiramente árabe, fala-se uma língua apelidada de darija, o que torna a coisa ainda mais difícil mesmo para quem fala árabe, pois darija é um género de árabe modificado pelas diversas influências ao longo dos anos neste país). Outra língua muito falada em Marrocos, e de origem marroquina, é o berbère, muito falado no sul do país.

A vida aqui em Marrocos, baseia-se muito na religião Islâmica (atenção a religião Islâmica não tem qualquer relação com terrorismo, muito pelo contrario, baseia-se muito no respeito, na interajuda, e numa fé e devoção presente em todo o dia). Na sociedade Marroquina é visível uma grande diferença entre as várias classes socias, quase não existe classe média, aqui ou se vive com muito ou se vive com pouco, mas mesmos os que com pouco vivem sabem tirar partido da vida. É muito habitual os Marroquinos após o dia de trabalho e ao fim de semana, passearem ao ar livre, como parques urbanos e praias, adoram fazer piqueniques, conviver e conversar ao ar livre. De uma forma geral o estilo de vida é muito próximo do estilo europeu.

Para alguém que não é Marroquino é fácil a habituação a Marrocos. É uma país onde se come bem, tem ótimas praias, tem desertos (Sahara, o maior do mundo), tem montanhas e estancias de esqui (a mais alta montanha de Africa é aqui), tem muita fauna e muita flora e tem muito sol e pessoas muito bem dispostas e simpáticas. Dificuldades claro que existem, como em tudo da nossa vida, nada é fácil mas nada é impossível, mas deixamos isso para o nosso próximo post.

Hello Unicats welcome to another adventure here on the blog and as you can see today I bring you a post that a lot of people had already asked me and that others simply look for me with doubts, because there is a lot of fear of traveling / living for one parents with a religion and a culture so different from ours but will it be so different we'll see!?Life in general here is not very expensive nor very difficult, you have to know where to buy.In supermarkets in general the prices are very similar to those of Portugal and the rest of Europe, except that the fruits and vegetables are cheaper and much more fresh.One of the places where we can find cheaper products are Souks, they are daily markets where we can find a little bit of everything (clothing, meat, vegetables) and where it is possible to negotiate prices a little bit (something that Moroccans find graceful).The clothing stores of well-known brands are generally more expensive than we are accustomed to, but the clothing stores (traditional Moroccan) have very affordable prices.Finding a home to live in is not an easy task, first because there is not much information. There are houses for all wallets but with their limitations, the most likely when looking for a house will be to find one in the style of here (with one or two Moroccan rooms), but also there are houses with more European style, being these a little more expensive monthly (this is in terms of rent, because buy I have no idea because I never bought home).Working in Morocco is not difficult the problem and finding work here, first because there is a large job exchange and after the general salaries here are relatively low, it is most advisable to come with work from Portugal or from another country to here, another difficulty is related to the language, although Moroccans speak French and even English Arabic and very important and there are still many people who only speak Arabic (just out of curiosity in Morocco does not speak truly Arabic, a language is spoken dubbed a darija, which makes it even more difficult even for those who speak Arabic, since darija is a kind of Arabic modified by the various influences over the years in this country). Another language widely spoken in Morocco, and of Moroccan origin, is the Berber, widely spoken in the south of the country.Life here in Morocco is very much based on the Islamic religion (attention to the Islamic religion has no relation to terrorism, quite the contrary, it is based on respect, inter-faith and a faith and devotion present throughout the day) . In Moroccan society there is a great difference between the various socias classes, there is almost no middle class here or you live with very little or you live with, but the same who live with little know how to take advantage of life. It is very common for Moroccans after work day and weekend, to go outdoors, such as urban parks and beaches, love picnics, socializing and talking outdoors. In general the lifestyle is very close to the European style.

For someone who is not Moroccan it is easy to habituation to Morocco. It is a country where one eats well, has great beaches, has deserts (Sahara, the largest in the world), has mountains and ski resorts (the highest mountain in Africa is here), has lots of fauna and lots of flora and lots of sun and very nice people. Difficulties of course exist, as in everything in our life, nothing is easy but nothing is impossible, but we leave it to our next post.
